Big Time Rush is an American pop music boy band formed in 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow along with Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega. They signed initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. They appeared in Nickelodeon's telecast series, Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28, 2009 through July 25, 2013. The pilot episode showcased the group's debut single as a promo, "Big Time Rush".
